Abstract
This article tries to shed the light on the need for Information and communication technology for development and questions the efficiency of this growing industry. It is an attempt to comment on the progress made since year 2015 towards the Sustainable Development Goal#17 as presented by the report of the UN Secretary-general during the session 2024.
The article addresses also various recommendations with practical perception for energizing the Global Partnership while expanding connectivity.
