Abstract<\/h1>\n

This study analyzes the discursive mechanisms through which Lebanese private-school financial leaders re-produce a single financial decision in multiple versions depending on the addressee (parents’ committees, teaching staff, and the Ministry of Education’s Private Education Directorate), using “financial taqiyya” as a procedural, non-theological analytical construct. The study offers a twofold theoretical and methodological contribution: it integrates Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis with professional didactics to analyze discursive practices that textual analysis alone cannot capture, and it re-reads these mechanisms through professional didactics (Pastr\u00e9, Vergnaud, Mayen) as a professional scheme (sch\u00e8me) governed by operational invariants acquired through repeated practice in school financial contexts. The EPR model (Vinatier) is added to interpret how discursive interactions are managed epistemically, pragmatically, and relationally.
\nUsing a qualitatively-driven interpretive design and an integrative framework anchored in professional didactics, the EPR model, and critical discourse analysis, with limited auxiliary theories (conceptual metaphor theory and organizational legitimacy), the study analyzed a corpus of 46 dialogic and 128 textual discursive events collected between 2023 and 2025. Analysis identified eight discursive mechanisms organized in a three-level hierarchy: financial-knowledge management, meaning reconstruction, and legitimacy\/trust management. The reading through operational invariants and the EPR model revealed that pragmatic and relational dimensions dominate dialogic events with parents and teachers (68%), whereas the epistemic dimension dominates discourse with the Ministry (57%), revealing a functionally-oriented “organizational imbalance.” A diachronic analysis identified three stages: taqiyya of the legal vacuum (2023), taqiyya of legislative anticipation (2024), and taqiyya of appropriating transparency language (2025). The study concludes that financial taqiyya is a coherent professional scheme acquired through practice rather than an individual ethical deviation, and offers recommendations for strengthening educational financial governance through leadership training targeting managers’ awareness of their operational invariants.<\/p>\n
